The mission of the AIAS is to empower voices, ideas, and actions to bring architecture forward. We aim to cultivate design, leadership, and service in architecture students. We also bring pizza to our meetings, for our fellow foodies.

The American Institute of Architecture Students is a progressive national organization that aims to foster design, leadership, and service. Our chapter upholds these principles through a focus on mentorship, advocacy, professional development, and most importantly, fun. We organize social events like our Welcome Back Barbecue, professional events like our Firm Showcase, and advocacy events like our Architectural Equity Panel. We run a peer and professional mentorship program that matches underclassmen with upperclassmen mentors as well as architects through the AIA Long Island.
