Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Tau Chapter, was chartered in 1965 by a group of eleven dynamic New York City collegiate women. These illustrious women, who truly had something to offer, dreamed of supporting the initiates highlighted through the organization. The chapter is city-wide encompassing four year colleges in Manhattan and the Bronx (with the exception of Columbia University, whose chapter is campus based).

Epsilon Tau implements Delta Sigma Theta’s Five-Point programmatic thrust through programs including, but not limited to: Delta G.E.M.S., EMBODI, Project ART, HIV/AIDS Awareness, Adopt-A-Child, Financial Fortitude and various seminars and workshops.
