The Graduate Student Association, shall provide leadership that will ensure the graduate students’ voices will be heard and considered at New York Institute of Technology and hereby establish this constitution of the Graduate Student Association at New York Institute of Technology.

The objectives of this organization shall be to:

• Promote better communication among graduate students, the faculty and the administration.

• Develop programs and initiatives of professional, intellectual, cultural, social, and recreational enrichment for graduate students.

• Provide activities and services that will assist students in their graduate and post-graduate work.

• Provide graduate students with funding for various conferences and professional development workshops.

• Enhance graduate student engagement by encouraging the formation of graduate student clubs
